Dilly Dally Summit - June 4 2022

Coast Mountains, Anmore, British Columbia
1272m

This is a continuation of our Journey along Dilly-Dally loop, specifically the 4th peak on our trip, picking up from the TR for Mount Beautiful.

This was also a fairly short segment, about 50 minutes from peak-to-peak. There's honestly not a whole lot to talk about. This is again an all-snow exercise; a short descent to the low-point where the trail forks off for Shannon Falls, re-gaining most of that elevation to a bump on the other side, then turning straight North up to the summit.

The only real thing to note about this summit is it has better North-facing views, and it is the only one we saw that actually had any indicators on the top that it was a peak (had a small sign). We spent about 10 minutes taking pictures and having a short break before we left.

Summit sign tacked onto a dead tree
Looking back from whence we came
Looking back toward the city, clouds started to roll back in at this point
Looking across at the Seymour group
Lots of remote peaks up at the top of Indian Arm
More remote peaks across Coquitlam and Pitt Lakes
It is pretty nice to have all this snow and be solidly in t-shirt weather

After our brief respite, we headed out to the last peak of the day, Little Horn Mountain.
