2/3 of the needles (ran out of time), a classic ridge hike+scramble in North Vancouver, commonly chained with Lynn Peak in a long hike, or done as a bike+hike by approaching on the Seymour Valley Bike Trail

Mount Lolo - June 10 2024

A p600 just northeast of Kamloops, but with a rather uninteresting ascent (it can be driven probably even in a 2WD vehicle, with a minute or two of tress-walking to get the true summit)

McCrae Peak - June 9 2024

A fun ski peak with some spicy scrambling (at least in shoulder season) to top out. p600 for those who are into that. Plus, the road goes up super high so you can skin to/from the car even in June!

A small sub-peak on Wild Horse Ridge, which is the way up to Mount Kerr, the top of the Marble Range near Lillooet, BC. A nice tack-on peak to the day for the ardent peakbagger

A scenic p1000 peak at the top of the Marble Range and the so-named Provincial Park. Or so I hear, we went up on a rather stormy day. A nice, straightforward hike for those seeking a pleasant day out, or something to do on a less-pleasant one that isn't technical

A simple but long hike near Harrison Hot Springs with decent views along the way. Bikes would definitely be the best way to have fun here, though

A p600 near Agassiz with no real trail, but some fun offroad driving on the way, and the hike is short and simple despite the lack of trail. Good for a rainy day IMO

There are 6 peaks with 100m of prominence in the Sumas Mountain massif in Abbotsford, BC. Sumas Peak is the highest, but if you're going there, you may as well catch em all!

Quite an excellent ski mountaineering objective. Parking right off the highway, pretty short approach which should be skiable as long as there is snow, fun skiing, and a cool summit scramble. Plus over 1000m of prominence for the stat nerds :)

A peak I first saw driving home from California in 2022, a gorgeous triangular skier's paradise rising right over a beautiful lake, I knew I had to come and ski it. I was right, one definitely needs to ski this mountain at some point in their life

An ultra and the highest mountain west of I-5 in the US. Sadly overshadowed by the near Mount Shasta, still a pretty nice mountain, with good access on high forest roads (if you go at the right time of year)

A classic tour up one of the most famous Cascade Volcanoes, which happens to be highly visible from the Vancouver+Fraser Valley areas. A must-do for any ski mountaineer in the PNW
